I can fall down an allmusic hole much deeper than a wikihole.

www.pitchfork.com - music review site, has videos, news, and TONS of reviews for bands you've never even heard of, spanning back to 1996.

www.last.fm - radio service similar to Pandora, but much, much better.

I'd recommend some bands, but it would probably be a seven page document.

Yes, but each member pretty much consistently posts a certain genre or style, and if he put forth the effort, he might figure out that posts from X member are the songs he'd most likely want to hear.

But yeah, the post count is overwhelming. :/
