The female tarantula hawk captures, stings, and paralyzes the spider, then either drags her prey back into her own burrow or transports it to a specially prepared nest, where a single egg is laid on the spider’s body, and the entrance is covered. When the wasp larva hatches, it rips a small hole in the spider's abdomen, then plunges into the spider's belly and feeds voraciously, avoiding vital organs for as long as possible to keep it fresh. After several weeks, the larva pupates. Finally, the wasp becomes an adult, and tears open the spider's belly to get out.

Anyone who's played Fallout New Vegas, the Tarantula Hawks are the Cazadores, fricken evil those things were. Always swarming you in packs of 4-6, I hated them so much!.

Also what a way to die, you don't even get the benefit of dieing instantly, no you get it's babies implanted in you and it feeds on you when they hatch, avoiding all your vitals as long as possible. God was in a bad mood when he invented the way these scary bastards would reproduce *shudders*

lol, I just used a shotgun most of the time, but yeah, the damn Cazadores were far more deadly than the death claws that roamed around simply because they're more numerous. Even the small ones were freaking lethal!

I always thought it would of been creepy as fuck to have tarantulas,milipeeds,centapeeds and more variety of creatures in Fallout.Maybe at night the ghouls would come out like zombies and you have to survive it Very Happy
