Bought myself a new toy...

The day after Christmas I bought an RX-8 Anniversary Edition. Grey Mica paint, Cosmo red and black leather interior, upgraded Bilstein suspension, power/heated/awesome everything. I absolutely love it.

Actually it's more of a birthday/anniversary gift for Kari, but I'll drive it as often as I can pry it away from her.

Dear god this thing is fun to drive. 5 minutes in one and you know why it's considered one of the best handling cars in the world. I highly recommend you drive one at some point. It's like a rocket-powered crack go-kart. Making it go the speed limit is hard. It acts like it wants to bite all the other cars. It forces you to smile whether you want to or not.



Hope you all had a Merry Christmas. I've been busy lately so haven't been on in about a week.

PS: Unrelated, but I also managed to land my RC Helicopter on a reluctant co-workers head today! I then flew it over several peoples desks and it blew their paperwork off their desks and all over the place. Another awesome toy!

Pretty entertaining Top Gear bit on the RX-8. Ours has the better suspension than the one he drives here though, he's driving the 06' here I believe (might be an 07)

I hate you. Yes they are fun to drive cars. A friend has/had (don't know if he still does) one. It's sexy, fun, and quick little cars. Got to love that Wenkel.

Sweet mang, I had a second gen RX-7 years ago. Fun as fuck but the little bastard always flooded itself and needed a fuel cut off switch.

Ha! I should have mentioned that's just a stock photo of it from Mazda. That's exactly what it looks like though, Anniversary editions only come one way. Still haven't found out which number (1000 made) ours is though.
We haven't had a chance to take any good pictures ourselves since it's been pouring effin' rain like the world is going to end the past few days.
