just stumbled upon this and I agree it could of been so much better with the stuff the guy talks about.

There was some other improvements article from awhile back I read but forget exactly what they mentioned

''So even if you fancy yourself Mr Pacifist McBlacksmith, the game will designate you a Big Damn RPG Hero with all the high-leveled enemies that entails. Usually, that simply leads to a frustratingly quick death at the hands of whatever nasty creature decides to grab hold of the food chain and choke you with it. Occasionally, though, you might polish off a dragon but get torn to frosted flakes by Tony the Murder Tiger or some other woodland creature. Suddenly, your heroic accomplishments don't feel quite so epic anymore. ''

i like this guy XD

I have no clue what you guys complain about. It takes me all of 3 arrows to kill a frost troll, 2 on a bear or sabertooth. Dragons are a considerably harder struggle, and they're random finishing moves piss me off like none other.

You're also a hardcore min-maxer who exploits the crafting system in the game. Some people try to play the game like a role playing game instead of a let's make the numbers bigger game. Skyrim punishes playstyles that aren't min-maxing. Bad game design.

explain min-maxer?

also, the only skills I've maxed out are smithing (iron daggers), enchanting (actual work) and archery (actually killing shit on expert difficulty)

A little. My bow is just rape-sauce, but then I've started using a less powerful one more often, and on expert it actually makes the game rather challenging.

my bow does about 170 base damage, 60 fire damage and a ten second soul trap. It is insane.
