I got one of the warnings for telling Storm I was going to give him a Salamander Kick. And the other for saying I was gonna rub Soaps... Yeah.

I take pride in myself for the fact that Ive never been modded in anything Ive ever done except for this one time when I got a warning on World of warcraft for telling someone to fuck off. They said I was making sexual references or something like that.

LOL I did that to people all the time. Especially if I was leveling a character and someone did that to me, Id get on my main and piss them off for like an hour.

Good times...good times. Almost miss that game some times.

LOL did that too but with feign death. Sometimes I wouldnt even need to because the lowbie would start trying to help me kill them and he would pull aggro lol. Idiots.

Sorry about that Frost, but IIRC you just got off and then I said it so you couldn't have done anything about it.

I had to convince my dad to let me get it. And he was like "so you want xbox live AND runescape?!"

Never played an MMORPG. I don't see the point. It seems like the fun is in the combat, and the leveling up. But I play RPGs for the story, most of the time. All that other stuff is just supplementary fun.

Anyway, never got modded, except for the homosexual marriage topic. The whole thing got deleted, and I made a few posts in it. But I don't think that counts.

Its kind of like trying to make your character as good as possible. Some of them have pretty good and non linear storylines. Like world of warcraft; it doesnt have a "main quest" like fallout 3 really. But its got quests that build upon the lore behind the game and such. And if you have a guild that your in which is like a clan, then as you get better and the other people get better then you can progress further into the dungeons and get better loot, there by making your character better to allow for more progression lol. Quite honestly WoW ruined that part of the game with the 2nd expansion so thats part of the reason I stopped playing it.

I liked playing MMORPG because I like performing a role for a group of people. Just like playing BF series, you have a role to fill, and 'expect' everyone to play theirs. And the party prevails!

I think storm explained it better than I did lol. Anyways what "role" did you guys fill? I always liked support more than damage roles. In WoW I had a prot warrior whom I absolutely loved and a holy/disc priest. I always like being the big bad warrior who takes all the damage lol but my fucking guild leader who wasnt even that great always maintanked and took all the good prot gear. I could whoop his ass in duels though =)

I usually perform something that no one likes performing, the boring tasks. Healers and Tanks to some extent.

Or perform something that people consider useless, in exceeding manner. This can be observed not just in MMORPG for me, but in other games as well.

in rs i was an exploit abuser

drop trades were the only way to transfer wealth from account to account, and was very risky. because people like me would "steal" the people stuff they dropped for another account. i was more like a cop.

When I had to do that Id go to the least populated server and go to the least populated area. Usually in the upstairs of a completely useless building. But for a while I didnt even need to do that as I had an older computer sitting right next to the one I used so I could be on 2 accounts at once A friend and I did hack a guys account lol. For some reason he gave my friend his password so my friend traded all his stuff to my account and we moved to another server.

the game got ruined when the trade restrictions and drop/death item restrictions were put in place.

pvp worlds were fun but i could never make a str pure. i liked reverand hunting though, serious reward there.

fist of guthix wasnt half bad either

Never actually did the barrows (wow surprised I still remember the name, havent thought about that game since about a year and a half ago lol) stuff. Always thought I wasnt good enough (Though I could probably do like I did when killing higher level stuff with the halberd by hitting over objects) to do it and never had enough money to buy the items (never got over 500k) Dont think I was around when they put restrictions on the stuff.

i like the rune b axe or scimi. i finished by buying rune trimed armor with a lot of my shit. i wish non-membs didnt have so many restrictions. the highest monster was that dragon and later they added greater demons thank god, and hellhounds but they sucked. and those reverend shit in the wildi(lol my memory too.) i did get a friends members account and it was mad fun cause it was level 100 but mad poor cause it was haxed.

I've never played an MMO, but I did have roomates that played Everquest once.
Mostly I just made fun of them.
