Hon is the sound people make when they eat hotdogs too fast.

Dota is that game that I posted videos of a loooong time ago asking why anyone would ever want to play it. Apparently it is fun, but it looks so lame that I have to restrain myself from becoming to insulting about it. Although if any close friends started playing it I would have to dis-own them.

See! I can't help it! My "beat up the dork" gene is to strong. Sometimes I have to punch myself...

Is WC3 Warcraft 3? The real-time strategy games were cool, but just saying World of Warcraft makes me cringe.

DotA is literally Warcraft 3. They just took the main heroes and made them the only unit played.

Nah,
Shooters aren't dorky. Sports games, racers, fighting games, GTA's... these are all fairly accepted... enough to not have to much of a dorky stigma to them anymore.

Rpg's, anything with superheroes, anything remotely fantasy and especially anything on PC. That's the stuff that will dorkify you.

Not sure which game you're referring to here. If you mean LoL I don't hate it. I don't know enough about it (Dota, LoL etc...) to even know if I would like it. Hell I might even love it if I tried it. Gameplay footage of it just looks... boring? Kinda lame?

I understand it's not and you guys love it. That was just my initial impression of it.

It doesn't really matter because I'll never try it. I just enjoy hating anything that's on PC too much!

Don't get me wrong, I've been playing, and loving, dorky games since I had a shiny brand new Atari 2600.

I was just pointing out what types of games are socially cool, and which can make people call you a dork.
Plus you have to remember the depths of my hatred and scorn for anything running on PC.

Hearing you guys talk about LoL makes me think I might really love it regardless of what it looks like in videos.

Player base being the people that play. I know one guy at work didn't like the game because people at his school where playing in the computer lab (they were "dorks" lol) screaming about the game while playing it. That turned him off the idea of playing.

Same with Dungeons and Dragons which is the epitome of what you're afraid of... I think it's kinda like being a homophobic, because you secretly are worried you are a homo.
