Verdict - Co-op is tons of fun.

we destroyed bronze mode...tried silver and got taken out in wave 3..

Been playing the co-op for around 2 hours now. I do pretty well in bronze aside from the stupid objective of killing the big mech in under a minute and 30 seconds. I have no idea how you are suppose to do that.

The single-player part was pretty cool, but it felt a little linear, though I guess it's just a demo. Still haven't tried the co-op yet, but odds are i'll have to wait until tomorrow to.

Yeah, I had been playing with them for like an hour by the time you joined. It started out real quiet at first, but then one of them threw out an MLP reference. That's when I knew I was in love.


I'll post a link when it's up, I'm gonna have to wait until I go to bed to render it though. My computer suffers a stroke rendering HD videos.

But I couldn't find the damn cord that connects my controller to my Turtle beaches so I couldn;t tslk to you guys but I could hear you well.

dude you got me wanting to get something to record my gameplay and start doing playthroughs or something

I tired this last night. I picked the soldier class and I did really well. Took second on my team and leveled up like 3 times. I like it a good bit, but like Jr said I had trouble with the controls. Partially because my controller leans to the left.

My take on what they're trying to do....make it like Gears 3 or Gears in general with this horde mode thing.....when the ME3 engine isn't fluid enough.It feels like you're a clunky robot moving around,where as in Gears,it's more smooth and fluid.

also the transition to cover to cover seems very clunky and often wind up doing something I didn't mean to....and I'm no newbie to cover shooters...

dunno how to put it into words,but,it controls bad to me.Still getting the game,ME1 and 2 also controlled bad,but,they also didn't have fast paced MP modes either.Gonna take a while to get used to it.

Also I kinda found in certain spots even if you were behind cover the enemy could still hurt you,but,you can't hurt them >__>.

I'm mostly just playing it for the story anyway.Like in Dead Space 2,the MP is just something extra which I honestly think won't stay alive very long.

I really enjoyed the gameplay though. I plan to play some more tonight, I think I'm gonna try the Adept class.

Any suggestions about class selection? I tried assault and did well, but my abilities seemed kinda vanilla to some of the shit that was flying around >_>

It took me a few hours to get used to the controls, and sometimes I dive instead of latching to cover, but the more I play, the less it seems to happen.

And as for the cover thing, it's because small portions of your body are still sticking out to the enemy.

Terry, I have been having a great time with the Vanguard. Once Epyk mentioned Pull took shields off Guardians (?) I was spamming that and the Biotic Charge. Although the charge put me accidentally in the.middle of some groups a couple time. By the way... thanks for the revives everyone.

I forgot to mention this, but does anyone else think DICE did an amazing job with the sound design of the guns? They all sound so beefy, I love it.

I almost forgot dice did the guns, but yes, they sound pretty awesome.

Yes, DICE did the sound design (and apparently the ballistics) for the weapons in the game.

how far does the mode last?I made it to wave 10 before with randies on bronze lvl but then we get insta killed

Both of the maps go 10 rounds, with a final "round" after that where you just have to stay alive for 2 minutes in a certain area.

I like it alot better now....now that I know about the abilities and grenades and concussive shot

man,I kept getting triple kills tonight with the grenades you can just keep refilling them from the ammo boxes too
