ME3, Bronze is for noobs

Playing last night with Jester, Jitty, and chao5gunn3r, and about halfway through the third wave I notice I'm getting worked over a bit. I mention it to the group and Jester snickers, and tells us all "sorry, I wanted to see how good we could do on Silver." Well we hang in there and after about 4 phantoms, and 5 Atlases (seriously, 5 of them) We are holding down the launch pad. We are totally surrounded and everyone is going down. With 5 seconds left I'm the last guy, I get taken down, the timer hits 0 and I use a medi-gel to revive and win the round.

Fucking Epic.

So I don't think I can go back to bronze unless I'm playing with randoms. So I need you all to step your game up when we play. I wanna try to beat gold at some point when my character is maxed out.

do gold like a man terry. all HPT's are atlas. at least ten mechs per wave. and more phantoms than assualt troopers.

I've beaten silver with spacer, ante, and spacer's friend.

A least twice the whole team but me was dead and I had kite all of the enemies with the tactical cloak. Infiltrator's ftw.

Except infiltrators don't do shit for damage. And they can't take much damage. And they can't do really anything against energy shields, barriers, or armor.

So pretty much they're worthless.

And yeah, silver isn't tough as long as the team sticks together and focuses DPS on Phantoms. Atlases are EZ mode as long as you keep your distance and/or have an escape route planned.

I figured out how to use the rocket launcher at the end though so that helped us win

so is this why no one is playing BF3?

I will play BF3 tonight. I got caught up playing ME3 last night despite saying otherwise. But not again!

I will apologize for that DL, I remember seeing the invite, but I was on my way into the kitchen at the time, and I spaced it out when I returned.

I was playing ME2 anyway. You should really try it DL. A lot like GoW horde mode, but you get some really cool powers. TONS of fun.

yeah, i was surprised he hadn't tried it yet, since he was all over gears hoard mode.

O really. Hunh. I'll check it out. I've never played mass effect I thought it was a single player game only.

ME3 MP is hoard mode with objectives.

It s a mailnly single player game that added MP for ME3, give it a shot while the demo is out.

Interesting. I'll check o ut the demo then.

I totally love it. I already enjoy it more than Gears. Even though it doesn't control as well. But hopefully the controls get cleaned up in the actual release.
