Have fun and explore!

If you see an item that has a specific name, don't grab it! A lot of the time it will glitch a quest later on if you grab it before you have the quest.

Save often

Focus on about 4 abilities and really get good with them.

Don't do this too much until later on, if you do it early then you'll level up without increasing your combat skills, meaning tougher enemies you aren't prepared to fight. You can't smith them to death.

Sneak = WIN

i have 80 Sneak and all Sneak perks apart from Shadow Warrior, i am almost undetectable, i can roll straight past a guards legs without him noticing me Very Happy

also, avoid power-leveling your non-combat skills in the early game. enemies level to your overall skill, so if you dont level your combat skills to match them you will die a lot.

Pack clean undies and ranged attack 101...avoid shooting your companion in the head/setting them on fire...even if they wont get the hell out of the way....screw you Lydia...screw you....
