Did you have a bad ethernet cable or something and changing it gave you better speed? Or was it that your wireless was running slow?

My brother was the cause of my connection issue. I could block his computer from the router and the connection would jump up to normal.



Also, my ISP is going to be switching everything over to fiber-optic soon. . . I say soon but they have had cable in the ground for 2 months and haven't been back. Unfortunately even though it is going to be fiber-optic, it will only improve to 15Mb down. I say that like it's a bad thing but any improvement is a good thing.

I just swapped out a wireliss D-Link connection to a direct line to the router via ethernet able. That was my little bit of pride. And now my xbox and PC run so much nicer with online.

mine is 10mb download and 1.5mb upload w/windjammer

I honestly can't tell a difference in this vs the old century link 3mb download,.75upload

I guess since I never download anymore lol just watch some youtube or play xbox live.Honestly kinda thinking of getting a PS3 for the free PSN but idk....those slow system updates are horrible I heard

They are not that bad. Im spoiled with my PC right when it comes to loading times, bu the PS3 updates are just a little slower than the 360 ones.
