Im still kinda confused on how they did this... there must have been a screen somewhere on stage because projecting a 3D image onto air is impossible as far as I know

I saw this earlier and was wondering the same thing. It don't think it's a screen because the camera views from left and right capture the same image at a different angle so it seems to be projected into 3d space... Unless the "screen" is actually a large glass/plexi cube etc...

^ive been looking around everywhere on the internet for some sort of technical explanation... because honestly the 3D tech here interests me more than Tupac does.

Who knows maybe they really were able to project it onto plain old air.

from this camera view we only get one perspective of the hologram, so maybe it's not actually a 3d image.

Yeah was never big into rap music but Projecting 3D images sounds fucking awesome unfornately they are too busy focussing on the tupac is back from the dead angle

Yea man, I'm with you. Tupac is worshiped like a god just cuz he died young. The hologram, however, is awesome.
