I almost bought MW3 yesterday

I saw it at Wal-mart for $50 and I have to say I thought about it. I have been a little down on BF3 lately and maybe playing another shooter will rekindle my passion for the game. I know a few of you have this game (Pariah, Byas, Zilla) so I'm curious as to what you really think of the game. Is it an improvement over MW2? Would I be better suited trying to find a copy of BLOPS?

From my viewpoint, it's nothing lifechanging, but it's fun. Every single gun is overpowered, so the balance isn't too big an issue. Specialist killstreaks are so unbelievably fun. The community gamemodes are excellent, and I enjoy them. For the most part, the maps are good. Overall, its a good game to play for fun, if you have a low anger-management problem. BlOps is good only for zombies now, and you know you'd have friends to play with in MW3. If you get it, hit me up and we'll play some weekend.

It's really mediocre, but it has its moments.

I own it. I dont like it.

The MP is not my thing at all. All the maps are tiny and cramped with tons of camping spots.

I bitch to byased each time we play, that's its horribad.

Saw my bro play it and it really seemed like nothing special,I'd get black ops and get the zombie packs for it personally,that would seem alot more fun

I think MW2 with all its problems is WAY better.

I used to do ok in black ops mp which is saying alot since I'm god awful at twitch shooters and have bad hand eye coordination and had sucky internet connection back then of only 3mb lol.


hmmmm.......now I'm kinda wanting black ops just for a new shooter to play .but,most of the time I got stuck on a god awful team

You might be right, I've never really liked any other CoD game. But I do want something that makes BF3 more enjoyable.

Its fun to play with a 6+ group....but otherwise its a lot of the guy you just killled shooting you in the back 3 seconds later.

Mkay. Its fun in small doses. If you enjoy tinkering with the metagame and finding interesting combinations of things to wreck people in their hind parts, buy it...it will keep you working.

There is always someone better so you will be constantly striving to improve, thats kinda why I stick around. You will be playing with us so forget the community. There is biased against COD but I prefer this to BO anyday...i'd rather revenge spawning then ghost and practically omnipotent famas.

To each their own.
