My eagle scout project was approved :D

That means if everything goes as planned I will have my eagle by the middle of July.

Congrats. the board shot mine down the first time and made me come up with ridiculously in depth explanations for everything I did.

That is really awesome. My issue right now is that even though I guess my project could be considered good (I will be doing the landscaping for a home habitat of humanity is building in 5 days) it has already been done by someone in my troop and I personally did not think of it, someone approached me with the idea. This has led me to the dilemma of thinking that all I did was take the easy way out. Anyways I have to ask, has your eagle helped you get a job or into a college?

I'm not really sure. I got a job and I got into some decent colleges but I don't know how much of a factor the eagle scout thing was. I know I started at 8/hour at my job when everybody else started at 7.25 so could be from it.
