im building a lava-blade trap at the moment, so once it is up we can use it to farm bones and arrows. the important part being arrows Very Happy

nope, continuous traps are better. lava traps can re-route the drops to where you are standing if you want them to. that way you can stay within spawning range whilst collecting drops.

i could make another drop-elevator trap, but those are a lot slower than lava-blades because they have to swim up 23 blocks and then across, then fall down. lava blades are just along, death, drops turn in a U bend and come back towards you.

Adli, I know the difference for a lavablade. I had the lava blade skellies on the previous Zapto, remember? Maybe if you made a drop into water, channel it into a 2x2x23 pit, then drop the skellies down there? I think maybe with a piston transport system, you could comfortably collect it?

trust me, a lava blade is far simpler than what you propose.
the collection point is 3 blocks across and 4 blocks down from where the spawner is.

it would be working right now if i had lava permission.

Oh undoubtedly it's simpler. No contest there, mine was just three water channels and a lava blade, taking all drops down. I just afk'd it for an hour or so, got a few chests full of bones and arrows. This is if you can't make a lava blade, or as temporary means.

i could have made a falling trap that linked to the spawner area, but that isn't as fast. plus i hate making them. so many fucking SIGNS *insert mental breakdown here* and shit.

plus if you misjudge the heights its a pain in the ass.

I did not disable anything (its enabled now anyway) Either Uni disabled lava or its default in the essentials plugin, i aint sure

anyways, the grinder is up, its more compact than the other one. just don't mine near it or you'll die and ill get mad at you for breaking my grinder and throw you in again Razz
