haha I had a game genie for the original NES. It wouldn't always work and would glitch out your game sometimes. It was still pretty bomb when I was a kid though.

I loved the Game Genie for the Sega Genesis. Damn, cartridge games, how I do miss some of those sometimes.

Word. I've flirted with the idea of collecting some of my fav NES and SNES games on actual carts since I still have a working NES and SNES.

back in my day we didn't have the red ring of death....you just blew the dust out and it worked

yeah and if that didn't work you could wiggle them a bit when they were inserted and find the sweet spot.

finding the sweet spot was always fun.Alot of my games on SNES wouldn't work if they were all the way inserted,sometimes if they were barely or even halfway in the system they would work then....weird......things are reliable as hell tho because there's like no moving parts 0___o

yup my NES from 1989 is still going strong. It could use a new 72 pin connector since the original one is pretty corroded by now but a little wiggling and all the games I have boot up and run just fine.
