Haha, I never understood why people loved that show so much. The vast majority of it was just people staring at each other making angry faces.

I liked it,but some parts were soooooooooooooooo slow and boring like Hercule at the damn cell games....omfg...and I refuse to ever watch the boring garlic jr. saga again, no goku or no vegeta?no thx dude....

I don't even really like watching it before Trunks comes to kill frieza,pretty much the android/cell saga was my fav....I thought the Buu saga was alright till Vegeta self destructed and it didn't do anything to Buu....I thought the whole fusion stuff after that was pretty cheesy

Well the thing about the anime was that it was started right after the Saiyan Saga ended in the manga. So they already had a story and stuff to follow.

After that, though they were already caught up to where the manga was. So they had to wait for Toriyama to continue writing. Which is why we had some episodes full of nothing more then talking, or flashbacks, or filler with chi-chi, or Bulma or somecrap.
It was also the reason why the Garlic Jr saga was made, to give toriyama more time to write.

They recently released DragonBall Z: Kai, which was where they redid all the lines, changed the music, and got rid of ALL the filler, making it true to what the manga was like. For example in Kai the Cell games started at like episode 68, instead of the 100 something in the original dubbing. Heck the Frieza saga was over in 11 episodes I think, instead of the 30 it was before.

I just loved the battle with Frieza, and the ridiculous power attacks. That was my favourite. Oh, and how ridiculously powerscaled Goku/Gohan became.

DBZ just got really stuipd with the power levels.. But most anime that goes on that long does.

I liked Kai besides the music in it....I love the music in the Funimation english dub that Bruce Faulconer did,I think the music really made the show more epic than anything else

*shrug* still my fav. cartoon ever,but the filler is boring as hell at times
