So, I figured for his birthday I would give him a hand and help him start the costume he has wanted to be for a while now.

Now I don't cosplay nor have any intent to, so I really don't know what to look for. And I know I could skid around Goodwill and the like, for cheap stuff. But knowing my friend, he is a huge TF2 nerd, and he would wear the same costume for years.

Well he wants to make a Spy suit. So I was looking around for a blazer, suit whatever to buy just to give him a little boost.

What do you guys think of this one?

that looks good, if you swap the tie out for a Blue one it'll look pretty close to the TF2 spy.

if you can find one without the pockets it would look closer, since the TF2 spy doesn't have pockets on his suit.

For the spy, it's damn near perfect. Like adli said, swap out the tie. Add a pair of blue slacks near the same shade, and the most important part, the mask. Find a thin blue ski mask if you can, and a pair of slightly darker blue or black gloves. Prest-o chang-o you got a spy suit. And if you want to be truly truly perfect with it, www.trueswords.com sells butterfly knives, and they're legal in most states.

Thanks guys, now just to figure out the sizing somehow without him knowing...I have no idea how to order sizes and such.

Also, Pariah, butterfly knives are illegal in Cali. Trueswords wont sell them to us in here. Same with Amazon, they won't show them or even switchblades when I look them up. Yet my friend in Texas says both Trueswords and Amazon shows them when he looks them up.

But thakns. Not sure if I want to help him with the whole thing, or just the Blazer.

figures you live in Cali xD you guys have the toughest blade control laws I've ever seen. Here in WI, I regularly order full on longswords, katanas, daggers and other stuff from them. My next item is going to be a butterfly knife, and maybe a scimitar.

Yeah cali sucks when it comes to blades. I do own a fair share of illegal ones though.

I recently bought a pretty sweet Kukri though, waiting on that to arrive
