Okay, can anyone tell me why there is no run or command prompt on my computer?

Im trying to access my IP so I can change the wireless security on my router to better connect to my 3DS.

But I can't get the command prompt to open up. Its salmost like its not there at all.

Ive tried hitting start, and typing in run like suggested online, but the only thing that comes up are songs or programs that have nothing to do with it.

I even tried typing in IPCONFIG in the search bar and instantly the black command prompt menu comes up, but closes a split second later.

Ugh nevermind. I should have been typing in CMD not run.

it might be a broken Hyphootinator.
