Starbound Super Thread [Update: New screens!]

With more and more SeC'ers getting into the PC gaming scene, I figured I'd compile a thread much like my old BF3 one for this game. Hopefully it'll spark some interest and show some of the doubters that it's not a Terraria ripoff. I'll keep this thread updated frequently with any new links/screens/videos up until release. Anyways, on to the good stuff...

it looks really good. interesting water physics too.
it does look like Terraria at face value, but it brings a ton of new things to the table.

My wife is going to love this game.

Devs posted a new screenshot of a procedurally generated dungeon. Holy freaking crap.



They also posted a slideshow of a bunch of procedurally generated guns, if that wasn't enough to make your pants fly off.

they need to finish it already lol

Im a sucker for games with randomly generated environments and dungeons.

Word. I really liked how the maps in XCom were rando-generated.

I'm also a sucker for games with hot sluts. Don't get to many of those though...

Shit I just realized that Street Fighter x Tekken comes out for the Vita tomorrow!

Personally I think it almost has too many. I've bought over 30 games for it so far and almost all of them have been good.

That's more games then I have purchased for the PSP, 3DS/DS and PS3 combined in the past 6+ years and the Vita has only been out about 7 months. Plus I'm buying another 3 or 4 games for it that come out today.

Next week another 2 at least.

I wouldn't be surprised if I have (personally) purchased more games for this system in its first year than any other system I've ever owned starting with the 2600. Not bad for a system I think Sony did a shitty job designing.

So I'd say that means it does have games...
