this guy on the nexus wants to make a mace that glows like a torch but is used like a mace
he's made several weapon mods already and most of them are quite cool

the torch light is an effect, evidently.
maybe isolate the effect, copy it over to the mace. voila, glowing mace.

its obviously not that simple, but its the general idea XD
