It's probably going to be a while before I can get the money for all of it, but I thought I could do with some feedback now.

Any serious issues?
Anything I can do to reduce the price without impacting performance much?

Looks good actually. The CPU is the weak point by far. Not the greatest, but will do.

Dont need a 750 watt psu for that. unless you plan on SLI in the future

RAM is good brand

GPU is a beast

Make sure you OC that RAM to get the best of it, that kind defaults at 1333.

Great, thanks for the help. Would I be better off with a 2500, like this?

As for the power supply, is 650W reasonable?

650 watts would be fine

Thats a better CPU yes. Im not too familiar with that one however, Ill look into the benchmarks.

2500 is the same as the 2500k other than the overclocking aspect from what I've read.

2500 can be OC'd to about 4GHz while 2500k can go up to about 5.7GHz.

5.7 would be a pretty intense overclock. I don't think there would be any way you'd get that stable with air cooling. You'd need a custom LC setup. And even if I could get it that high I probably wouldn't as the increased voltages will wear out the CPU alot quicker.

somewhere between 4.5 and 5.0 would probably be a good middle of the road. You'd still get awesome performance but won't have to push the volts so hard so you'll get some extra longevity out of the CPU. I plan to overclock my rig when I get it and I'm gonna aim for 4.5-4.8 on my cpu.

Fox if you plan to do any OCing you might as well get the 2500k since you have a board that can overclock pretty well. It even comes with software that will automatically change the settings for you to get a fairly decent and stable overclock.

also just something to note you won't be able to take advantage of the new features from the z77 chipset (like pci/e 3.0) with a Sandy bridge processor (ex:2500k) you need an Ivy bridge processor (ex:3570k). These will let you utilize your mobo to it's full potential but if you plan on doing some OC Ivy brige can get very hot if you OC it and it can only really go up to 4.8ghz with traditional cooling methods.

those are just some things to think about though there's nothing wrong with your current CPU and Mobo combination. They will work perfectly fine together.

Oh and if you're looking to shave a little off the price I noticed you got the factory OC version of the gtx 670. You can just get the regular version and OC it yourself and that will save you a little bit of money.

also just a tip...if you're going to OC your CPU you're probably gonna want to get an aftermarket CPU cooler like the cooler master hyper 212+ or something along those lines just to be safe.

Yeah I mean I think that's just the max possible. I got those numbers from intel.

Which btw the 2500 can actually only be OC'ed to 4GHz with one active core, 3.8 with all of them.
