FF13-3 announcement?

hmmm I have yet to even play the first FF13...

nah the mmo's are FF11 and FF14 (which I heard sucked)

FF13 was the one which got alot of hate for being too linear haha

Ah, yeah, they kind of lost me after FFX. I liked that one quite a bit but the ones after that don't seem too appealing to me.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was amazing though. Better than original Final Fantasy Tactics imo.

FFT was awesome. It was the one strategy game that i really got into.

BTW FFIII (6 in Japan) was the best one.

I forgot where I got to in FF4,I guess I needed to grind more levels,I was pretty far in maybe 18ish hours or so,after the dude got some paladin armor and stuff,and some boss in a castle kept chumping me,so I quit...

probably going to finish up FF6 advance here,then do FF4....

I never hear anybody talking about FF5,was it no good?I have it....just have yet to play it...

I'd love to have the whole FF collection on the old school PS1 discs

I have to agree they lost me after FF10 on PS2 which I really liked, tried FF12 and didn't like it at all,it lost it's "touch" I guess.It was "too" open world.

The whole big thing with FF12 was the free roam battlefield...well....it didn't matter if I was close or far away the monsters could still hit me,so it was pointless

haha dude there's SOOOOOOO much more to FF4. That's pretty much the beginning of the game still. It's a pretty long story.

Every once in a while, a tough boss comes along. Baigan is one of them. Here,
he has 2 separate arms, which can be killed easily by Level 2 magic. But make
sure that you don't use Elemental Magic against Baigan's Body since he is
nearly impervious to them. Plus, he can cast wall which will reflect all
magic attacks back at your party. The main attack should be Bio. Tellah and
Palom can do these attacks. Make sure that he isn't under the Wall spell so
that it will count. It will deal hundreds of damage to him. As for Cecil and
Yang, physical attacks would do. And for Porom, let her heal the party. Do
not concentrate on attacking the arm too since he can restore them back once
they're destroyed.

I'm pretty sure that's who made me rage quit...I had just turned to paladin,and gotten back to the castle and suddenly this guy was hard as hell,I was like lvl 20

haha oh man he isn't even like the "Boss" boss. He's kind of a mini boss. There's another boss fight pretty much right after that that's an even bigger bitch.

Some of the boss fights in FF4 are really tough. Alot of bosses will have moves that will hit your whole party for massive damage and if you aren't high enough level you'll get wiped out in one shot pretty much.

There's this imp dragon boss later on in the game that is the bane of my existence. You have to fight him without armor because the cave you're in has a magnetic field and anyone with metal equipped can't move/take a turn. He wrecks your shit. Eventually in the fight you disable the magnetic field and get to re-equip your shit but he can still rape you in his final form.

Such a bitch to beat. He's made me rage quit a few times.

I remember it was annoying,played FF4 on PS1,and if you held down X to run/dash in a cave,you'd have a random battle literally like every 4 steps or even less....

even with all those extra battles that gave me XP,that boss in the castle chumped me like I was nothing >:0

the place where you first get your paladin gear is a great place to grind levels since all the enemies there are weak against your holy sword. And you usually get encounters with like at least 3-5 enemies. I always grind like a Mofo on my way down the mountain again.

FF4 you need to grind every so often just to keep your levels up. that game is pretty unforgiving when it comes to that shit.

Indeed. That imp dragon boss I was talking about earlier is the only one that seems to give me massive amounts of trouble. Seems like you need to grind ALOT before taking him on.
