Lance Armstrong to be striipped of Tour De France wins and life time ban.

This is what the man is facing in light of the USADA and their allegations that he used illegal athletic enhancing drugs despite failing to test positive for doping hundreds of times over his career.

This fucking pisses me off, the man is a freaking legend, and these pricks have nothing better to do than go after the most successful athlete in Cycling history whom is now retired.

He finally fed up and throwing onthe towel, and what do they say? He's fleeing because he's guilty. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? As it is right now the USADA has absolutely no physical evidence to prove he doped. All they have is testimonies from convicted dopers and former competitors/team mates.

That sucks! I haven't watched much cycling or really followed it over the years, but everyone knows who Lance Armstrong is. To hear that he's giving up the fight and they are going to go that route with him is just messed up.

I will remember him as the greatest cyclest ever. Regardless of what the Tour says.

The guy won the tour de france 7 times with cancer he's obviously no quitter. I think if he's giving up fighting these allegations after a few months... he's probably done something he shouldnt and doesnt want to to drag it out.

I really want to believe that he is innocent, and I think its horrible that he's getting everything taken away, but when was the last time a champion gave up fighting steroid charges without actually doing them, especially with so much on the line?

He's Lance Armstrong. He could bike into the USADA headquarters, tell them to suck his left nut, and tons of people would support him. Besides that, USADA isn't an actual governing organisation. No one gives twelce micrometers of of a rat's pubic hair what they think.

He has been fighting these allegations for years now Zillah. It's tiring just always hearing about it. I'd want to give up fighting too.

oh yea i know that what they are trying to do is total BS, i was just saying that his slate isn't as clean as some people seem to say it is, one such test

there is little doubt in my mind that early in his career he took part in doping, i just don't think he did so on a major level when he won the 7. What the USADA is doing is ridiculous, breaking international protocol, breaking there own rules all to get one retired man.

also most of the positive tests i could find, like 4-5 (which out of over 500 is tiny), almost all of them were early in his career and before he started wining the Tour de France.

iirc there has been several of the biggest competitors during his run that have already been banned, and anyone else who was cheating was such a nobody that no one cared if they cheated.

There's pretty good evidence that he was doping, but the thing is that literally everyone dopes in that race. The highest place in the last 6 years or so anyone has gotten that WASNT doping was 4th place.

the guy raised loads of money for cancer, he was an inspiration for people for years, and he used his popularity for great means. For all I care, he's still awesome
