Does anybody else get a bowl to puke in when they sick, or do most people just normally run to the toilet really quick. I was looking through dishes today at my Mom's for a bowl, and I recognized this large orange bowl, because it was the always the one I was given to puke in, then dump it out later when I had the flu. I know this kinda random, but I'm just curious, lol.

I think I always had a trash can when I was a kid. I don't recall ever using a bowl.

i usually either grab a bucket or run for the toilet. usually have a bucket on backup either way if i know i'm gonna get sick.

last time i threw up it was in a garbage bag in a tent when i was trashed at a music festival. picked that up to throw it away the next morning and it weighed like 10 pounds.

I'm really good at puking. I can tell when I'm going to, and I can always make it to a toilet in time.

If not a toilet, then at least the grass.

Lol, alright, just making sure I don't have totally bizarre parents. I was just looking at the bowl, and was thinking, " I wonder if anybody else puked in a bowl/bucket when they were sick?"

Bowls have Curves and that could cause Splashback.....

I used to puke in buckets when I was a kid, the few times I had stomach flu. For sure. I don't think it's weird.

the stomach flu doesn't treat me two well.

i've been hospitalized from it twice. once because i was getting dehydrated since i couldn't stomach a drop of water for about a week, and another was because i was throwing up blood which felt like razor blades at the time. the latter was about a year or two ago i think.

Lol, I never puked that much.

However, I have a friend that projectile vomits (he can puke across rooms, thank God I'm never around for that)

I usually take a bowl that you would put like popcorn in and put a plastic bag in it and paper towels to soak up the puke so it doesn't splash.
