a single Skyrim mod has made me fall in love with the game again

Jaysus Swords.

i installed it to find some alternative 'plain' weapons for my warrior, its has so many awesome designs. i literally want to make 4 characters just so they can look awesome using the gear.

bastard swords, roman Gladius's(?), katana, crusader swords, baskethilt swords. so awesome.

im making an Imperial (Roman theme ftw) and i also want to make a medieval knight, a ninja/assassin and a lore-friendly Argonian/Khahjiit since they have racial weapons.

so awesome.

I'd love to try it ;.;

its basically just cosmetic, it has very little impact on gameplay. but holy tits its amazing, the sheer variety of cosmetic changes is awesome XD

im really picky about this playthrough (i hate min-maxing, i prefer aesthetics) and so getting a realistic weapon mod was so important to me. the weapon im using is an Ancient Sword, its pretty much the sword that Theoden wields in LOTR, ie badass and awesome.

im on a hunt for the Imperial Helmet (Closed) atm. its a vanilla game item that will put the icing on my roman cake i have the armour and the sword, but the helm is quite hard to track down under level 12

im going on a trek to SE of Ivarstead later today to hunt an unmarked shrine where it should be. then its stormcloak killin' time

I remember on gfaqs they said like ebony mail and the hardened falmer helmet kinda makes you look like a predator if you're ogre class haha

not allowed to fast travel, gotta hop around everywhere

i was never a fan of Ebony. or steel plate for that matter. kinda sucked for y heavy classes

i need to find a medieval knight armour mod since i already have crusader swords

Thanks Adli. I haven't played Skyrim in months and now I'm hunting down mods for a fresh playthrough. Starting with these awesome weapons.



Is there an armor mod like this? I've always found that armor mods are generally garbage recolors or they just don't... fit into the style of the game.

i also got the Winter Is Coming mod... the cloaks are really really good
