Aha, so it's to fit with the theme of the Aftermath DLC.

The new character models seem to have blood on their clothes and bandages.

I wonder if they carry over into the regular game?

A jury rigged crossbow on a 416 frame, which seems to be allkit.

And it looks like those are the Assault, Engineer and Recon kits.

I'll admit, I am intrigued.
