i have one weapon star and one medal and those are what make up a huge majority of people's SPM in BF3.

578 on the 360 and 410 on the PC

Medals are required to get over 500 SPM

But you also need to score high every match to get over 500 or so

Capping flags is the key to getting a high score.

My KD isnt that great ( like 1.36 or something ) but I score a shit ton of points because I cap flags like a mad man.

Your K/d is good.

I think in a BF game SPM is soooo much more important. And anything over 1 K/d is good as long as your scoring points and helping your team.

Just 375 spm for me(on 360), but I mainly play rush and with the squad I usually play with I try to stay just outside the base or just inside the base and be a mobile spawn point for my squadmates that try to arm the objectives. On defense I don't move too far away from the objectives so I can get to them to disarm them in time and when my team is spawnkilling the other team it makes for a low scoring round.

BTW, my k/d is currently 1.906...by far the best I have on any game.

Just went and checked:

SPM is 593
KD is 1.63
Knife is my #1 weapon at 2169 stabs
Nearly equal play across all classes.
641 hours played almost every minute of it with randoms. I've probably played less than 30 matches with anyone on my friends list.
W/L of 1.39

492 for me with 1.6 KD. My SPM would probably be higher if I hadn't of sucked really hard when I first started playing. I had to claw my way up to 500 from a pretty well established 350.

564 SPM and 2.1 W/L

Also boasting a respectable 1.8 K/D

There's something productive about killing a third or more of the enemy team without dying, and capping an objective by yourself.

I wouldn't say it matters as much as how many points you put on the board, but dead men defend no objectives. Or attack them. Or do anything really.

it was a joke dude...I rather you be in a tank and the enemy have nothing vehicle wise...and being constantly blown up...and not be on foot
