Album is incredible btw

I like it too. Best since Souls to Deny, maybe even Despise the Sun.

In fact I've been listening to it so much I have forgotten to mix my own band's material.

The technicality of the album is amazing IMO

Suffocation is always technical, but they took it a step up this one.

I like how they're technical without resorting to a superfluous amount of arpeggios like a dime a dozen modern technical brutal death.

Im working on this passage for my new song, that is 230 bpm, two guitars. Both played and recorded by me(thats the plan). Guitar one is going 4 key sweeps, 5 and 6 string sweeps. Guitar two is doing 6 finger taps over the same patterns , but at 180 bpm.....Meshuggah/Death/Suffocation/Gojira/Necrophagist style riff. Bwahaha. Its only going to be a short passage though, probably 45 seconds.

Its mind blowingly hard to write, but I have it in my head and I can physically play it. But just gotta find the right notes, which is always the hard part for me.

Hopefully Ill have the song wrote by next month haha.

It takes me awhile to write when Im mostly doing all instruments myself, and programming drums.

Yeah I know the feeling. I've been essentially producing my band's album the last three month and there is still plenty of work to be done. It's exhausting as fucking hell, especially when everyone in your band is an irresponsible pothead.

Damn potheads...

yeah I tried recording some stuff for a friend that plays guitar on a few occasions. It always makes me want to choke him. He's not a very good guitarist.

God damn t this album rules
