Looks good, but why does it have jaggies? I'd think it would be so hi-rez and so AA'd that jaggies would be non-existent.

dunno. it might be because its not at the resolution it was recorded at (1080p). im watching on a 1080p screen and its not full sized. i imagine it looks less jagged at the right resolution Razz

TB should have a ''WTF Is...'' on it in the next few days, with 1080p footage Smile

yeah, my Laptop might struggle really bad, i can play Far Cry 3 on lowest settings at 1080p and Crysis 3 is likely to kick the crap out of FC3 resource-wise.

Crytek have gotten a lot better at optimizing since Crysis 1. The game can actually be maxed with a 680 at 1080p with 60 fps, you just have to use SMAA(which looks just as good). Anyways that screenshot really does not do the game justice.

Ah, well that's good. That means my 670 shouldn't have a problem doing a steady 30fps.

I never usually turn AA on too high if on at all anyways, it doesn't seem to do anything.

it makes edges less jagged (jaggies are when you can see the pixels on edges). its not that noticeable at 1080p since there are so many pixels, so i turn it off if i want performance Smile

Well yeah I know what it's supposed to do. But like you said it doesn't really make a difference on 1080p so its best to leave it off unless you have a ton of headroom.

i dont tend to ramp AF up either. i know its supposed to help textures switch smoother, but i normally don't really care Razz

Well it seems I was wring. I was getting my stats about a 680 maxing the game at 60 fps from the multiplayer demo. With 4x SMAA you will get around 35 fps with a 680 in the final game.
