New server?

If you want a new server, I'll host one in 6 weeks (moving again sorry)

Its only going to have 512k Ram tho, so anything more than 10 players online will be a pain. When its ready, and i'm moved house again, i'll see if plague will point zapto at my ip

If you liked Tekkit, try one of the FTB pack mods. They're better overall, at least in my opinion.

Plague point a domain? LULZ, he was a good GM, but wasn't technical enough to handle the domain shit. Also I can provide more than 512 and will prolly run a server. 1 Meg upload is the issue (for now). There's an ISP that has 4 meg up (on cable 28 down I think). Gonna rock that shit by sept. For now I can most likely host a server though.

Well I'm all moved into the new place, how do you guys wanna do this? (Uni?) I can setup a comp (the 512mb one) or see if i can get my hands on my sisters old machine (2gb)... but my connection should handle about 10ppl.

Feed the Beast is where it's at man. Preferably Direwolf20's pack (I'd say Yogpack, but DW20 is exactly the same thing with a couple more extremely awesome mods.)

Yeah, but the FTB client is super easy to set up. You literally just open it, pick the pack you want and login. Everything is downloaded and installed automatically.

yeah. the server wasnt great, but we made a ton of cool stuff

if we can do another SeCtown but with control over the server (no 'lol this city is gonna flatten your town' and no 'we strip mined under your house') it'll be great

Ok the VPS is live now, I'm just installing nginx and SQL ect, FTP stuff, then minecraft. But from what I see up to yet this bitch is pretty fast

I'm pretty impressed with the FTB launcher.... I'll go with the pack you suggested but will make one custom for zapto and give you the private key for it, that way I can keep it custom to the server and change / add other stuff aswell.

Only problem I have ATM is that it lags the crap outta my comp with all them mods lmao (but i was testing with a local server)

I'll get minecraft installed prolly tommorow and let u guys know the ip and website ect (for map and other cool toys)
