unless its not a reboot. not sure where the story can go after 3 though. maybe a prequel.

I don't remember anything about the previous games stories at all. All I remember is haunted orphanages are the scariest thing ever. Ever, ever.

That level was designed by two friends of mine that were working for Warren Specter at the time. It wasn't originally even planned for the game, they were working on it on their own on the side, showed Warren and they added it into the game.

That level (and parts of the sunken ship) had me scared shitless. I had a hard time advancing at all through the level because of it. The best part?

The only game that ever had me stopping due to being scared again was Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

I'm skeptical about Thief 4. I hope it's not one of those games that gets dumbed down to "appeal to a broader audience", but I'll be there on Day 1 if it's as good as the others.

hahah yeah, atmosphere was great on that mission.

and yes, day 1 purchase if it doesnt suck Very Happy
