Same here. My brother went into boot for the USMC. He got medically discharged. Broke his ankle during a hike.

my brother has flat feet so he couldn't pass the long distance running requirement. he got p much perfect scores in everything else like situps, pull ups, pushups, etc.

Kind of runs in my family. I'm awful at long distance running but I can do push ups and whatever all day long.

Settled into my dorm sort of, at last. Going to be an Airborne Linguist (1A8X1). Aircrew Fundamentals here at Lackland for about two weeks, language training for 12-18 months depending on what language I get (hoping for Korean or Mandarin), a couple maybe months a Goodfellow for crypto school, 4 weeks of SERE training, and one more school that will depend on what plane I'm put on.

I'll be busy for a while.
