go into your .minecraft folder and put it in the mods folder. should update when you run FTP again

My comp is 7 years old and it runs fine..... only thing I can think is your location (server is hosted in USA)

just humped on. now sure if anyones started building anything yet, so i just ran around for a few minutes.

FTB seems to run fine, although its defaulting to vanilla textures instead of using the Painterly pack i have on the mojang client.

From what I have read, you have to uninstall 32-bit java in order for minecraft to use the 64-bit version. I could be wring.

You probably need to get a painterly pack that works with 1.4.6/1.4.7

1.5 completely changed the way texture packs are handled so it'd be completely broken if it was for 1.5

oh, ok. yeah my painterly is for 1.5+.
cant be arsed to go back and make it all over again for 1.4, so ill use the plain texture pack for FTB. or the ones it has suggested via the launcher.
