I love competition. This will hopefully mean that more people will consider the X1, which will also mean that Sony will have to get their shit together instead of just screwing around while Microsoft dooms itself.

This is interesting, and it makes the XO a more attractive proposition for sure.

One problem though, they've done this to appeal to the crowd that ultimately has no interest in Kinect...but they're still going to charge them almost £100 for a piece of kit they - by MS's own admission - never have to even take out the box if they don't want.

I can't see this winning anyone over who didn't already want one. I wonder how long before they offer a Kinect-less SKU? That could be a different story...

Yeah they'd be pretty dumb if they still force everyone to get one via a bundle but it's a step in the right direction.

yeah having a kinectless bundle you can pick if you just dont care about one would drop the price down a lot.

having said that... they'll have a lot of excess Kinect sensors if they do that, since i assume all the current XB1s have been produced with one Razz
