Im a fan of them.(shut up Greg. although you already know I like Max ) I just act like their first 3 albums didn't happen. Max is going back to his thrash roots now thanks to Rizzo. These first two songs from the album are very good imo if you like the band.

I just miss old Sep......and current day Soulfy is the closet thing to it imo. Soulfy has changed alot over the years, they are no longer nu metal, not even close.

I always assumed Soulfly sounded like Blink 182 or those doors down guys based off of their name. Pop-radio rock stuff.

I had no idea they sounded nothing like that.

They used to be nu metal, but now are pretty much strait thrash.

I like CC. Mark Rizzo is such a sick guitar player, and I just love his riffing and lead playing. Shit speaks to me yo.

I like it better than Soulfy

Im a huge old Sep fan, and thats about as close as you can get to it nowdays imo.

I just like everything Max puts his fingers on except very early Soulfly

I didnt start liking Soulfly till 2005 with Dark Ages though. Thats when the thrash emergence began.

We have been over this before. We just have to agree to disagree on this particular thing haha.

I prefer Rizzo's guitar work anyways. Much more my style. Dont get me wring, Kisser wrote some great riffs though. To be fair, Max was alot more involved in riff writing back then too. Nowadays he's more of a front man, and sometimes doesnt even play his guitar haha. Cant say I like that very much...
