As long as you pay attention you should be fine without studying. Unless your course is hardcore and gets you programming right away, then you're fucked and will have to practice.

That's how I feel.
Weeklong drawing project on Monday.
~5 projects for InDesign on Monday
~5 projects for Illustrator on Tuesday
Weeklong project for Graphic Design 1 on Thursday.

When my web and digital media design classes are integrated next semester, I will be taking 18 credits. It's going to suck.

Hahaha, yeah I'm taking the more creative road. My aim is to design web pages, so like the whole logo and how it will physically look, and then be able to code it to functionality all in one go. That way employers only have to hire me, and not two separate people. People like me who do both are in very high demand from what I hear.

You're going for web design, then? Unlike Sym, who is apparently in web development.

Unless you mean both web development AND web design. In which case, you're going in for a ride, because you would have to be both a graphic designer and a web developer.

I actually have a Photoshop book in the backlog, and will probably get some other things to study later when I get the time to get a bit more into pretty design.

I just had a 15 minute exam, it was supposed to cover everything in this last month of Astronomy. I finished in 10 minutes, and had time to double-check it. It was sweet.

Sym, what classes specifically do you have?

Ars, I'll for sure be doing HTML5 and coding. So I know ill be getting into the dev side, just not as much as if I were to go for a computer science degree. I think what I'm going to be hired for eventually is more of web design with light dev (at least that's what im hoping for....)
But yeah, I've heard horror stories of this program. The graphics program itself is already difficult to keep up with. Every day I feel like im being plugged into the matrix and just fed new information.

Yeah, if what I'm getting from you is correct, you'll basically be able to do what those dudes at themeforest do.

Create a badass HTML5 template. Responsive, with some JavaScript and JQuery stuff already included (they tend to just grab some plugins Laughing), and very nice looking with as much CSS3 as possible.

I actually just buy $10-$15 templates when creating some new project instead of making everything myself. It saves a lot of time and those guys are obviously much better than I am at web design.

And don't worry man. If you think it's too much information right now, just remember that that's just the tip of the iceberg Very Happy You will learn to love despair and feed on your own misery.

That's what i've always thought. Like, if a mathematician need to solve a problem but forgot what the quadratic formula is, I doubt he'd be like fuck it and not solve the problem, he'd look it up.
