Interesting, I'll have to try this some time. I think this could go both ways, it can be good because now infantry have a means to combat the ace pilots that come out and completely demolish the field, while it can be bad also if it makes it TOO easy to kill acft with.

Not sure, will have to wait and see how this pans out.

This is a good tactic to get those really ace pilots. Aim at some target fire and then go for the guy that's really giving you problems. That way they won't have much time to react.

Though this is beta so maybe it'll change.

That's what I was thinking Hydra, it'll be interesting to see if this stays or not.
