Spend 25 minutes trying to get into a match today, finally got into one, was kicking ass like 20-7 and boom BF4 has stopped working.

Fuck it. Im done. This is bullshit..fuck DICE fuck Sweden and fuck EA.

I never had crash as long as I don't put it on ultra, some reason it acts like I don't even have 512mb vram


What I don't like is the wonky hit detection, I'll hit people and get hit markers, and my ping is good, and they turn around and insta kill me. It's like I'm on normal but the enemy is on hardcore with how quickly I die


I might as well play on hardcore so hopefully the bitches die when I shoot em for once.

Never understood the "wasting half a mag" argument for hardcore.

60% HP is still a fair bit, a 25 damage weapon will kill in 3 hits, while it would have been 4 hits on normal.

Or a 16.7 damage weapon will kill in 4 hits on HC and 6 hits on normal. It's just 1 or 2 hits, yet every HC player will swear by their deities that they waste half a magazine to kill someone on normal, yet are all tacticool and never miss on HC.

Considering most guns fire over 500 rounds a minute (8 shots a SECOND), there shouldn't be that much of a difference.

I have not encountered as much game breaking problems, but am annoyed with general player base and server renters.

Nearly all servers are conquest or circle flag jerk conquest at the moment. Conquest is not exactly the best mode when most of the players don't even know how the game mode works. They are running around, or not moving at all, without any sense of purpose. And Circle flag jerk conquest (ie 64 map with 8 player max) is for SPM spamming/cheating.

About half the mag thing, HC players probably tend to fire a LOT more pot shots at enemies as they are EXPECTING EASY KILLS at distance. Doubt they even notice how much ammo they spend in close range situations. At longer ranged engagements, one or two less shots to kill a target is a huge advantage as it is very unlikely that you will land consecutively successful hits, especially on a moving target. There is less chance that you will be spotted firing away at distant targets as well, giving even more reason to take pot shots.

It seems that way on paper, but in real gameplay you notice how much easier it is to kill on hardcore. I played it a bit on bf3, just need to learn where people camp,etc. It would make sniping easier, I think that's how I'll have to level up the DMRs, deathmatch on hardcore, because my k/d is tanking trying to use the RFB on regular deathmatch. I still wonder if the heavy barrel is worth it, it seems to just increase recoil without decreasing spread, which is why I used it in bf3, the extra damage drop off was just a bonus. I hate shooting at somebody and all the bullets go around them like a donut.
