Any updates on a BF4 patch?

I mean its been a week now, we could at least have some word of something.....

I havent seen any updates on BL so thats what I ask...

there is a client patch in the works. that's all we know. and it's pretty standard procedure for devs to take a vacation after releasing a game.

words cannot express the frustration I feel right now.....

Well I noticed they fixed some bugs and things. They finally gave me my veteran battlepack. No preorder pack though. Servers have queues now and the reload glitch is supposedly fixed for normal mode.

A client update will be here "soon"

I noticed Shanghai and that Dam map crash alot for me,can't even play them, and people kept saying in the chat Dice had to disable the skyscraper falling in Shanghai cuz it supposedly would insta crash the server   

we should get it on the ps4 so when it won't play here, we can on there haha

R7 Server Update Rolled Out
We just rolled out a new server update for Battlefield 4 that should fix some of the most common server crashes across all platforms. Let us know if this patch improves server stability for you. Patch notes below:
-Fixed two of the most common server crashes (All platforms)
-The "admin.say" command should now work properly (PC)
-The "vars.preset" command should now work better in conjunction with other vars settings (PC) (It is now easier for server admins to set a server preset)
-Fixed a bug in the queue system regarding GUID (PC)
-Fixed various minor bugs (PC)

Have you tried using a different web browser? I don't remember if it was you or someone else who was having issues with running the game with Google Chrome.

Wish there was an error log or something that you could go to and see what exactly is causing the game to crash.

Im using Firefox

Hmmm, this may sound stupid, but have to tried updating Java or turning off your anti virus?

  

Sym, your problem is likely client-side which means you're SOL until a client patch gets put out.

I figured as much.......
