I'm going to try and up my production of these to a few a month.

I'm too inconsistent with them right now. The one I did before these was like 8 months ago.

That's a bit too long of a gap haha.

Yeah I didn't really like their newest album. It was good, but their older stuff is way better. But yeah, seeing them in Febuary along with Amon Amarth and Enslaved the same night

They are ok to me

I just dont like how the reuse riffs over and over again

As a guitarists its just lazy imho
They have some solid songs though

Yeah I get you with the same riffs thing, I don't even play an instrument and I notice it.

But yeah, they aren't the greatest band, but they sure are entertaining to listen too.
Plus I have heard they put on damn good shows, so excited for that.

I haven't ever listened to Enslaved either. Might start just so I have some idea of what to expect from them at that concert

Yeah same. Forever Abomination was way better than Unleash the Serpents. The mix felt kind of weak in their new one.

Yeah for sure. They embraced their inner maiden a lot more on this one and I like that they went way more melodic with it.

I just really like that song because I grew up reading Greek and Norse mythology. And the battle between Thor and Jörmungandr is my favorite myth

I found this album to be more so than their other stuff. These melodies really stick in your head...the others not so much.

Yeah, what Hydra said. Their new album had a lot more tracks that stuck with you, instead of one or two like their old

I also like how htey went back to their melodic style in the new album

Yeah the whole first half of the album is really solid. And there are some good ones at the end too.
