[FO:NV] Started up a new char, random suprise!

So i'm starting up a new character, melee kind. This time I had a look in docs place and found a broken sub machine gun which i'm going to get for my self. A bunch of stim packs and super stim packs, rad-x, rad-away, ammo, and a hella lot more. It's like a giant storage of health equipment and supplies just lying in boxes, not sure if it gives bad karma however when you're done with the tests. I just did it by running around before I sat on the couch.

Oh and I started up on hardcore mode, is that wise on a melee char? xP

melee character just isn't wise in general

If built properly a melee character can be successful. Just be prepared to die a lot while trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.

Lol, I'm donig fine I think not hurting a lot and the cave in goodsprings is a great source of weaponry, ammo and drugs. I found a few laser weapons while exploring there.

What is the cave called?

"Goodsprings Cave" You'll find a black hole to indicate it with a few coyotes. Also, a few minutes away you'll fine a gullet thing with more ammo for laser weapon.

Ahh ok. I've been to Devil's Gullet already. Cool little place. I haven't hung out around Goodsprings since early on so I may go back and visit sometime and remind those guys that if it wasn't for me their little city would be a smoldering, charred place out in the Mojave.

Melee characters can be extremely OP. Especially in FO:3. What you needed was a high sneak, and if you were Unarmed you needed around 8 strength, 3 Iron Fist perks, Paralyzing palm, and Ninja.

Melee Weapons characters just needed Pyromaniac/Shiskebob.

You were OP if you made the character right in FO:3, not sure about NV, but I'm sure it is the same.
