I have fried some kimchee with tuna for dinner.

Of course I am going to have some rice with that.

I have never liked kimchee, haha.

My step-family is Korean and my grandma used to make me eat kimchee all the time when she visited and yelled at me in Korean when I said I didn't like it xD

Oh, my Korean grandma is awesome. I love her.

Meh~

I would not fault you for not liking it. Its not exactly loved by everyone anyway.

What is Kimchee, I've never tried it.
Which part of that food is the Kimchee part?

Neutral I know it's not the rice part but which part of the other part is it? Razz

Is Kimchee a cabbage (looks like lettuce or cabbage in there...) or is it just some spice or something.

I think it's the yellowish, green looking stuff.

I think it's the Korean version of curry. That's what I got out of it anyway. There are different kinds. So, the mix of veggies and spices.

Just a guess though.

Haggis anyone?

And what is curry? Yes... I could look it up, but I prefer my knowledge to be filtered via Sheep and DL's wisdom.

From what I understand curry is a spice, which used or prepared differently can create different flavors. I'm not sure though, my friend was kind of confusing me when he was explaining it when I asked him about curry (since he's indian). Wiki says its a generalization for a variation of side dishes. Or.. its supposed to mean gravy or sauce, not spice. So, its a tasty thing you put on food that doesn't always taste the same?

Yeah. I think I've confused myself.

I would like to try haggis, but I don't want to know I'm eating it since I don't think I could if I knew.

That was my favorite part of my trip to NY - the street our hotel was on had like 5 Korean BBQs in the area and my friend (who is Korean) explained all the dishes and whatnot to us.

Korean food is damn good eats. Whenever I went over to his house his mom would always have something made and it was always so good.

O.o I have to post my food I will be having when I get home from school.
IF my mom buys it since I haven't ate one in 5 years.

I'll know what it feels like to truly be British afterwards >.<
