I've been thinking about looking into them. Each is only 15 bucks on Amazon, I figure that's a pretty good deal. Are they worth getting?

Borderlands is a blast. Never played Dragon Age. I think DL has though.

I really liked DragonAge. It's not open world like Oblivion was but it has a GREAT story!!! You do get to decided how the story is told by what race, character, gender you pick, as well as your actions will dictate whether you are good, evil, whatev. Great story, great characters! You do get to decided the order you go places some but you don;t get to roam the world.

Me though I didn't like the open world of Oblivion so much.

Borderlands is awesome but get the goty edition because it has $40 of dlc.

So Dragon Age is similar to Mass Effect but in a fantasy setting? And I dunno about getting all the DLC, it's the same price as a new game. But I'll think about it.

I've never played Mass Eddect but I remember someone comparing it to that game once so I would say thats a safe bet. I assume the 15 version dosn;t have all the DLC for Dragonage but I just have the basic game and have p layed it for weeks straight and not touched everything in the game. It's tuff to play because when I hope on I end up playing BCC2, or BO with folks.

Borderlands is really only fun if you have a friend to play it with in splitscreen.

I've never played DA, but I've heard good things about it, but then again, I've heard good things about Borderlands, but I thought it was really boring and repitive personally, but that could just be me.

Yea, that's why I don't think I'd be getting the GOTY of Borderlands or the DA with DLC. I just don't have the time

I have also heard that for Borderlands to be fun you need someone to play with.

I am always up for some borderlands.

Dragon Age is amazing, but I would recommend it for the PC if you could choose. It's still really good on the 360. It's more like Knights of the Old Republic than Mass Effect, though.

Borderlands is awesome, you don't NEED someone with you, but someone else make is more fun.

Dragon Age is pretty frickin' awesome, and it's a bit like Mass Effect, but different. there isn't a dialogue wheel or anything. it's a lot of fun, i replayed it three times >.> lol

I keep thinking to get DA, I just never think about it when it comes to actually getting a game.

Dragon Age, yes.
Borderlands, no.

DRAGON AGE!!!!

I'm peeing my pants over the new one, that's how good the current one is. I had a blast with in on the 360. And it has replay value because the outcomes of various quests, and the main story, are different depending on the choices you make. Awesome game. GET IT NAO!

Borderlands is best splitscreen. I've never even played it singleplayer.

The new dragon age will play similar to ME. It has a traditional main character that you customize like ME, and from most accounts I've heard its battle system will lean more record dnd twitch instead of the point and click of war craft.

Borderland s is a blast with friends.

Never played dragon age, but I have played the crap out of borderlands. Almost a good 200 hours, and a good 100 of that I played by myself. And the other 100 was splitscreen with a friend

Borderlands can get boring just by yourself. So if you have friends who own Borderlands, get that; if not, get Dragon Age. Like others have said, though, DA is far superior on the PC than on Xbox. Just saying...

Meh, I don't have a good PC, nor do I play many games on the PC. I usually play Xbox because my friends are on it. Unfortunately, none really have Borderlands Sad

I want to know what's so much better about DA on the PC rather than the 360.

That's the only reason I would consider buying Fallout 3 on PC...the mods do look fun. I got Morrowind on PC and modded it to hell.

Playing Morrowing on the PC ruined it for me. I couldn't keep myself from using the console for everything. I just set every cliffracer's health to 0 whenever I saw them. Same for annoying enemies or when I was about to die. Then I just CoC'd to the final boss and boosted my stats to kill him without using Keening or Sunder. But the game wouldn't let me win.

I put well over 100 hours into borderlands and loved it! I maxed all four characters. And it IS a fun game solo for sure! But it is better online co op with some buddies. I got addicted to Borderlands last fall for sure.

Never played DA but had too long time xlive buds that have played it for weeks straight. They loved it.

I have beaten and played Borderlands for a while, and need to re-purchase it.

Actually, the main reason that DA is better on PC is the interface. It works much better with a mouse and keyboard setup and the top-down view, rather than what the Xbox version tried to do. I've also heard that the Xbox version is glitchy.

I only had a couple glitches with my xbox version (which got fixed it believe), and the interface didn't bother me.

Now I'm tempted to get the old or new one on PC to see what it's like, since I think the new comp should be able to handle it.
