I got a 25 killstreak!

I just finished a directors cut version of my killstreak. It took forever and was a bitch having to do the whole thing with only 10 camera cuts (many cuts I had to just do on the fly), but I think it turned out pretty fucking good!

It's the first one in my fileshare. It's titled "Killstreak O-Rama: 25 Killstreak".

Might not be impressive to you, but that's a record for me and it's full of action, excitement and adventure!

The match started out REAL rough, but then...

I blow a dude up with a claymore!
I bounce my own grenade back at myself and escape!
I narrowly dodge bullets!
I shoot a guy... and through the 2 walls behind him to kill another guy!
I shank 3 people!
I Call in attack dogs (first time I've ever used this killstreak)!
I defend my care package!
I complete contracts (I bought the attack dog contract)!
I fly a valkyrie missile into a building to blow a dude up!
I shoot down a spy plane!
I run out of bullets and have to pick up a victims weapon!

It's in my file share if any of you want to watch it in it's raw form. It's called Kill Streak Orama.

If I edit it into several different (10 cut) pieces can one of you guys with a capture card view and record the different parts. Then stitch them together for me so I have one complete, directed video of it?

they could just download the whole match from your file share and record it that way, a lot easier than a bunch of separate clips

I bought my aim bot for 590. I have proof from search and destroy today!

But in all seriousness good job. I havent had one that high.

You can only have ten different camera cuts per clip, so to edit it I'll have to break it up into multiple clips.

Weird... watch the clip and count the green kill markers on the timeline. I counted 24 + 1 spy plane. I'll count it again to make sure though.

EDIT: I figured out why. The record doesn't count kills from killstreaks, just kills you made yourself. I killed 20 myself and got 2 kills from attack dogs and 2 kills with Valkyrie missiles... 24 baby!

I might have gotten more but I ended the match with my 24th kill.

Why do you need it to be a clip? Whoever is recording it can just download the whole film and record it from there.

Also you know you can look at the scoreboard in theater right?

Because that's the only way to add in camera angles, different viewpoints, slow motion, freeze frames etc... Otherwise it would just be from 1st person and that would be lame.

I wish to have a match as this one day... Yet i always seem to get FUCKED 1 kill before sentry gun or carpet bomb.

Over the weekend I was trying to get ghost pro. And I need the take out the enemy sentry gun challenge... Hell I was dropping my sentry guns in the enemy base but my damn teammates would always go and get them. Grrrrrr

I did feel good after shooting down 3 care package helicopters the other day...

It's always nice to deny someones KS with a strela rocket!

Yeah that's the one I need for ghost too. It's a bitch.
On the plus side I have most of the other perks at Pro... Except Scout and Tac Mask.

For most of my classes I always use sleight of hand in my second, and marathon in my third. My first slot I use lightweight in CTF games, and now I use ghost otherwise. I used to use hardline a lot but I don;t care so much about care packages and killstreaks.

I mix them up across classes a bit.

I took G3 Platinum Stars suggestion and double checked my kills from the scoreboard.
I was wrong about it being a 24 killstreak...

And once again. Is anyone with a capture card willing to help me stitch together my edited cuts? Pretty please?

Still need to shoot down 11 more flying objects and the sentry gun challenge is REALLY easy if you run with ghost and hacker.

My prob with the Sentry gun is that I never play against a team where someone uses the damn thing!

Don't worry with hacker you will be able to see a sentry gun across the map.

Holy crap dude, my- highest is 15. It is more of a challenge now because kill streaks do nothing at all apart from kills.

I'll check it out tonight when I get home.

I always just let myself die once I hit my maximum killstreak, so I can restart the streak to get me more killstreaks. (CoD4 habit)

Also, VERY nice Metal. A 25 killstreak in FFA, and you weren't super-camping (or really camping at all). Very good. I like the editing you did; how did you do that? The double kill through the wall was pretty nice; also, I laughed because you had a Green Commando, and it the time of the video was 4:20. I'm never gonna forget to tease you about using a Purple dot as your sight though. xD

Right now. I just want to play Combat Training though, because my joints are stiff from the cold, and I don't have fast enough reflexes to fight real people.

No I wasn't camping at all. I'm using surround sound X41's, so every time you see me hold still to ambush somebody it's because I can hear them coming and tell exactly where they're coming from.

I like the editing you did; how did you do that?

Well you can only make ten camera cuts/transitions per clip, so most of the camera work I did "on the fly" as I was recording it. To make the cuts, just stop recording when you want to transition. Re-position the camera, alter the slow-mo or perspective etc... then hit play & record at exactly the same time. Rinse and repeat.

They give you the tools to make cool, directed, choreographed videos (even if they aren't very good tools) so I don't understand why all these uploaded videos suck so much. They're basically all from 1st person and if they do go 3rd person or free camera their camera work sucks because they try to do it freehand instead of a camera edit.

I'll try to check it out today when I get home. My best I know that I've got was 17...counting whatever killstreak kills I got in it(this was probably in the 1st week the game came out so I think my killstreaks were spy plane, care package, attack helicopter). I may have gotten a higher one but I'm not sure...only reason I know I got a 17 is cause I went 17-0 in this match(it should still be in my fileshare for anyone that wants to check it out)...I did kinda camp one of the upstairs windows on Nuketown for that match though.

EDIT: After watching my vid again I should point out that by "kinda camp" I mean, I camped the hell outta that spot.

Watched it, great job on that match...once I sent you a FR I could view your playercard/fileshare. I especially liked that you actually made some cuts/transitions in it. I'm definitely going to have to check out the commando once I unlock it(haven't been playing much lately and I'm only a lvl 43).

Thanks man. Theater mode only allows you to make 10 cuts within a single clip (which is super effing lame ) otherwise it would have had far more (and more detailed) camera work. That's why I asked in the first post if someone could stitch multiple clips together for me... so I could go nuts with the editing.

Still for having to pick and choose I think it turned out pretty good.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the commando is my baby. Love it.
