First I've heard of it.
The XM-25 25mm airburst smart weapon. Currently in live testing in Afghanistan. I think they should put one in Map pack 7...

Yea that thing is pretty awesome. They also have a turret mounted version of it I think.

Didnt know they were doing live tests with it in Afghanistan though...thats pretty cool I thought it was still in development.

From the BBC article in my first link:
It's already been issued to soldiers in the US military serving in Afghanistan and could be used by British special forces too.

That picture is probably from the training/orientation manual that the british are using. Maybe it's just clip art...

True but how many training manuals for say....the US military have the enemy holding M4s or M16s?

Ive never really looked into it but I doubt they do.

I saw a news article about this gun yesterday and it said that they have had it in use in Afganistan and have had great results with it. Looks pretty damn wicked!
