Metroid Prime (the first one), but ONLY because I haven't played Super Metroid that much, even though from what I played, it was amazing.

And I enjoyed Metroid Prime 2 the most. Holy shit I was obsessed with that game for like 2 years, I beat it like three times a week.

That said I've probably beaten every Metroid game except Other M at least 20 times.

Getting the Plasma Beam early in Metroid Prime 1 makes the entire game a lot of fun though.
