Bout an hour in and it's run like a dream for me.

I deleted the install to make room for BC2 updates and I'll be damned if FO runs a lot smoother without being installed.

Its great so far.

LOTS of talking, even just with only one companion.

Also, I'm sad that... let's just say that my skills usually used to be boosted by items are no longer boostable easily, due to some complication that had occured in the sequence of myself ending up in the Sierra Madre. But this is a good sad, not the usual sad I observe within myself.

Im torn on this. Ive already downloaded it, but losing my character due to that glitch really put a sour taste in my mouth.i really dont want to start another from scratch(would be my 5th already)

The newest patch did a lot of good in fixing up a lot of corrupting of save files, so you are almost unlikely to lose your character now.

I would not worry about it too much, just save often if you can.

I sure hope so......my last dude was PERFECT for how I wanted everything to go. Hence why I started over four times.
