What a Weekend!

I pl;ayed caretaker all weekend to a sick wife and kids. My new Years eve was me by myself because everyone else was sleeping =o( I drank a glass of woodford and coke and played RDR. I didn;t even care to watch the ball since it was just me. O well. I was happy to come to work so I could have a break.

Sorry to hear that, DL. We just hung out with the kids, it was fun though because my oldest is headed back to the Marines again.
My PC at home took a dump so I had to come into work on my last vacation day to get some work done. YUCK!

Part of Dads life I guess Tex. Good to hear that you got to spend some time with your son before he heads back. I saw you playing BC2 one day or night I don;t even remember and wanted to join but I didn;t want to play something on live bcause I kept having to gwet up and get someone something to eat, drink, clean up puke or something! HA O well hopefully I can play sometonight.

I feel REALLY fucking tired right now! I am hoping it is from lack of sleep versus getting sick myself.

I'll be on more since half the kids are gone now. I'll be switching between RDR, BC2, and Naruto: Shippuden.

BTW, my Marine son was able to play BC2 with Terry and Khult in Nam. He hated it because he was totally confused.

Has he never played before? If so I can see where it would be confusin! My first time playing I sucked because I had never played a battlefield game and tried to play it like COD and got murdered!

Oh no he's played Vanilla but not 'Nam. He said it was just too different and it's too hard to see on our TV.
Same happened to me, DL. I got in my first match and started running around and got TORE up! I couldn't stand the game but I REALLY couldn't stand MW2 so I swore I'd figure it out. Still haven't totally figured it out.

DO you have a SDTV? I could see where nam on SD could be a problem because I have a problem seeing it on my new HDTV where vanilla is crystal clear for me now.


I did play some black ops this weekend for an hour when a cousin of mine jumped on and wanted toplay. It was od going back to it after playing so much BC2 again.

We have some ole raggly, big ass TV and I couldn't tell ya what it is. 'Nam is impossible to play because it's so dark and I still can't see flags or peoples names. Were thinking about getting an HD but the wifey is already sad because it'll be in the living room (you had that happen, right?).

Yes ours is in the main living room so I do have some competition for it. THe kids not so much as they are for the most part happy to go into our room to watch their cartoons. THe wife though...... she gets agrevated with me at times for hogging the tv.

my weekday has started off with a crap sandwich of fail, with my parents fighting in the living room, and me ready to go hang myself somewhere quiet so i don't have to deal with it anymore!!! *RAGE*

Other than work yesterday, my weekend was fine. x_x Sorry it's been not so great for the rest of you.

I went to starbucks for the first time Saturday. We have about 12 within waling distance. =P

$3.45 for a tiny ass cappucino. *shakes head* Can't say the price justifies the product.

I get a carmel machiato for 4.00... yes expensive but you get a fair amount of product.

Maybe you got a bad Starbucks dirty mouth. Some of them don't make as tasty drinks as others, even though they are supposedly using the same recipes. There is one girl at our Starbucks that makes shitty drinks.

This is my last day of Christmas break. No more being a lazy slob for me.

And Starbucks is quite nice, once in a while.

HELLO, SHEEP!

Saturday My oldest daughter was still feeling fine so I took her down to the Frazier Arms and History museum. Pretty neat place. THeir main focus is on arms and armor throughout history. They have a rifle that belonged to Washington, a pair of pistols that belonged to Custer, a bow that belonged to Geronimo plus lots o other cool stuff! They also had a temp exhibit on toys called the good, the bad, and the cuddlye and had toys from all time periods. I got excited to see the GI Joe, and He man figures! HAHA. THen we had dinner, and she wanted to go to Wal mart and look at the toys! Fun times.

It was nice on Friday when both my wife and youngest where in our bedroom on quarintine. I had the tv all to myself.......

HE MAN! I used to love that cartoon.

There is a really cool museum over in Massachusetts that I went to. Armor baby! Mainly from waaaaaay back in the day when there were knights and what have you. Some of the cod pieces were very amusing.

It's the amount that bugged me. A "Tall" Mocha was shitty small. Not tall at all!!

I usually only get the tall. The cups look really small empty, but full, then tend to be just the right amount. The "Grande" is a safe size too, but venti anything and I'm a cracked out freak for the rest of the day.

I'll be headed to 7-11 from now on. 99 cents gets a big ass cappucino.

It's decent. I'd rather pay 99 cents for a mediocre big ass cup than 3.50 for a tiny ass good cup.


There's definetly a difference in 7-11s though. The one by my work is good.

I wish we had 7-11s here. Barely even see them anymore. Definitely not any close by. I used to live just down the street from one in Oregon. Was at that place CONSTANTLY. Walk down there in the middle of the night to get snacks/drinks.

Yes the venti is some insane amounts of caffiene! I just went and got a tall pikes place for a $1.50. There are better local places but nothing close, otherwise its folgers in the breakroom, or speedway coffee and the speedway by us is nassttyyy!!!!!!

i went to my Dr.'s app this morning, got a caramel macchiatto and a spinach egg white wrap, delicious.

unfortunately my insurance got rejected by the office, and i had to go across the street to a different medical center and get another appointment for tomorrow lol

then i get home, and my dad informs me the dog has to be put to sleep because she is bleeding from her eyes.

my day keeps getting better and better!

at least i got Starbucks, though, even if they are overpriced lol

I had fight with boyfriend last night (he kept bugging me, made me mad, got bit and then got mad himself). And had to do everything at work yesterday. But you can be damn sure everything got done.

Sounds like everyone had a fun and exciting weekend! Mine was good, Went shopping and to lunch with Ehat on Friday, packed Saturday, and went to coffee with Epyk's wife yesterday and then hung out at home. Lots of packing but also lots of lazing around and relaxing since I don't have much to pack myself so it was a win.
