Was my daughters first basketball game. They are 8 and 10 and are on the same team. HAHA They have NEVER played before so it provided for some interesting moments. My favorite was when my oldest daughter is running back to defend against the other team making a basket. As they are running back the girl with the ball is dribbling past her and she reaches out to steal the ball and hits her in the face knocking her down! HAHA THe girl wasn;t hurt but the whold moment was just comical. My friend went to the game with us and he just laughed and shouted that her lunch was on him today!


O and they won 19 to 1 so they where pretty excited about that!

19 to 1???? Your daughters may have a scholarship to UConn waiting for them.

HAHA Well it was mostly the fact that we had one tall girl that we could feed the ball to for easy layups.

Ouch. Hope she didn't hurt her hand, haha. Good for them.

Sounds like a good time. Kids and sports can get funny. Like watching midget football.

I bet my parents watched me playing sports for amusement. I was god-awful. When I was 5, I was the only one who didn't score a goal on my soccer team. When I was 6, they had to stop my basketball game because nobody was passing to me, and they gave me 2 free-throws. Not much has changed haha.

Sounds like me, I played soccer for years and never scored a goal, I did play defender all the time though. I'm sure all adults get a kick out of watching their kids play sports.
