Might come back to the 360, trying to convince a friend to switch over.

It sucks, most of my friends that play this are on the 360, but the only person who I know that plays constantly is on the PS3.

I'm slowly trying to convert him, but the biggest issue is that he needs a wireless adapter for his 360, and he's not sure if he wants to pay 50 bucks a year (He has surgery coming up soon, yow!)

He did ask me a question, he's been hearing that players have managed to hack the 360 version of BC2. I don't take much stock in stuff like this, but have you guys encountered any weird stuff lately? Only thing I can imagine is people using modded controllers, but unlike CoD modded controllers don't help you worth a damn in BC2.

The only thing odd I ever saw was really long clan tags. But I haven't played in a while, so I cant say for sure.

Anyway, tell your friend that he can just buy a new 360. The newest models come with wi-fi integrated. If he already has a 360 though, he's screwed and will need the adapter. Or he could get a 10 feet long ethernet cable

Modded controllers do jack shit in BC2 because all the semi-automatic weapons are capped at mind-numbingly slow fire rates. This bars the Grach and to a lesser extent the M9. Even then, most people can still pull the trigger fast enough to hit the Grach's fire rate cap.

It's more because I'm sick of running with idiots, and after watching volt and you guys play, I really want to come back and try and run some games with you guys and gals.

I run a 50 foot cable to mine (may be part of my lag troubles though).

I also run a 50 ft cable, although by now it's only like 15 feet away from my router. That should get you less lag than wireless.
